Christian Education Special Activities
The Sunday School Mission Project for March, April and May is to prepare CLEANING BUCKETS. These supplies enable people to begin the overwhelming job of cleaning up after a flood, hurricane, tornado, or other disaster here in the United States.
Items needed per kit:
- (1) five-gallon bucket with resealable lid.
- (5 scouring pads
- (7) sponges, assorted sizes
- (1) scrub brush
- (18) cleaning towels (reusable, like Easy Wipes)
- (1) 50-78 ounce BOX of dry laundry detergent
- (1) 12 ounce bottle of liquid concentrated household cleaner (like Lysol)
- (2) pair of latex gloves
- (1) pair of work gloves
- (5) dust masks
- (1) 25 ounce bottle liquid disinfectant dish soap (like Dawn)
- (50 clothes pins
- Clothesline, (2) 50 foot or (1) 100 foot
- (1) 22-27 count box of heavy-duty trash bags (33-45 gallon)
- (1) 6-14 ounce bottle of insect repellant (drops or lotion, not aerosol)
All items need to be NEW.
Always needed:
Monetary donations to cover costs of shipping or
buying miscellaneous items to complete a kit. |
